Civil Society Organizations, (CSOs) have been implored to wake up to their responsibility of fast-tracking societal development by constantly reminding the government of the immediate needs of the citizenry, instead of focusing on their gains.

A board member of a nongovernmental organization, Yiaga Africa, Chief Ezenwa Nwagwu made the call during a meeting with leaders and members of Civil Society Organizations in Anambra state held at Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area.
