Val Ozigbo To Hold Town Hall Meetings With Ndị Anambra In Lagos, Abuja And Enugu

The leading aspirant in the forthcoming Anambra state gubernatorial election on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Valentine Ozigbo, is set to hold special town hall meetings with Ndi Anambra living outside the state.

In a statement issued on Friday, March 19, 2021, issued in Awka and signed by Ephraim Adiele, his media assistant, Mr Ozigbo revealed that in line with his principle of a people-oriented government, he has decided to carry every onye Anambra along in his dream for an progressive Anambra.

“The grand vision I have for Anambra State is one that requires the collective input and participation of everyone. Everyone has a role to play in repositioning our state for the better,” the respected business executive said.

“Consequently, I have decided to hold intimate sessions with my brothers and sisters in different cities outside the state. This way we can deepen the conversation, reveal our plans with them, and discuss their expectations for a new Anambra,” he added.

Ozigbo who is a prominent philanthropist further started that the meetings will hold in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu on from Saturday, March 20 to Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

The statement revealed the schedule of the town hall meetings would be held as follows:

LOCATION: Lagos (Island)
DATE: Saturday, March 20, 2021.
VENUE: Villa Angellia, 2 – 5 Okunola Martins, off Okotie Eboh, off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi Lagos.
TIME: 6pm.

DATE: Sunday, March 21, 2021.
VENUE: Villa Park Hotels and Suites, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.

DATE: Monday, March 22, 2021.
VENUE: Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
TIME: 5pm.

LOCATION: Enugu
DATE: Wednesday March, 24, 2021.
VENUE: Kobb Event Center, Shoprite Enugu.
Time: 6pm.

Valentine Ozigbo is the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, a position he resigned from in March 2020 to focus on the next phase of his life in public service.
