The the winners in USA Elections are not determined by the number of voters. the unites states of America Uses what we called, the electoral Collage System to chose their Leaders. In 2016, for example, Hillary Clinton led in the polls and won nearly three million more votes that Donald Trump, but she still lost. This is as a result of the fact that, USA uses an electoral collage system.
What is electoral System. And how Does It work.
Rowlandgate analysis shows that the united states Electoral college is an example of this system, in which the election of an executive president is indirectly done with electors representing the 50 states and the federal district. Each state has a number electors which are equal to its congressional representative. An electoral college is a set of electors who are selected to elect a candidate to particular offices. These sometimes represent different organization, political parties or entities with each organization represented by number of electors with votes weighted in a particular way.
The number of electors from each state is roughly in line with the size of it’s population.
Other countries that uses this medium includes, France, Burma, Burundi, Estonia, India, Madagascar, Vatican City etc.
