UNIZIK: NAPSS inducts young political juggernauts

The Association Of Political science Students (NAPSS), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, recently organized an induction ceremony for her new students.
The annual event which took place at Uzoka centre attracted dignitaries, staff and students of the department.
The oath-taking was headed by the Senate President of the department, Senator Ikechukwu Esther, with the Chief Justice of the department standing beside her as a witness.
The head of the department, Prof. Igwe Eze admonished the newly inducted students to avoid indecent dressing after which he encouraged them to be diligent.
He said,” In my capacity as the head of the department, I will make sure you are taught by the best lecturers and make sure you graduate as at when due…commitment to your studies is what I’m asking from you, students”.
Mr Francis Nwosu said that the students should maintain good relationships with their fellow students and continue to showcase their talents as they did at the event.
To entertain the guests and students, dance performances and a stand-up comedy were organized after which awards were given to the most outstanding, intellectual and punctual students of the department.
