UNIZIK Inaugurates Sexual Harassment Committee
Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof Charles Esimone has set up what is widely commended as one of the most fundamental committees that should operate in Nigerian universities = “Sexual Harassment Committee”.
The Committee was inaugurated on Friday 13/08/2021 amidst loud ovation for the VC for the relevance of the Committee and for its membership.
The Committee is chaired by Prof Carol Arinze-Umobi (Professor of Women and Minority Rights and Family Laws, immediate-past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) & Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor Legal); members are Prof Harry Obi-Nwosu, Prof Emma Okoye, Prof Chinyere Stella Okunna, Prof Nkechinyere Nwokoye, Dr Chinyere Esimone & Vice-President SUG.
