There’s nothing to Emulate in your party, PDP berates APGA Chairman
The Anambra State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says there is nothing good to emulate in the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the state.
The Publicity Secretary of PDP stated this in a press release made available to journalists in Awka.
He noted that the APGA statement other than casting unnecessary & unwarranted aspersions on the person of PDP State Chairman, failed woefully to debunk any of the statements of fact , made by the PDP Chairman, and as such is completely misplaced and very unfortunate, that they cannot face an issues based dialogue.
The PDP spokesman makes bold to state, that the PDP under the leadership of Hon Sir Ndubisi Nwobu remains focused, disciplined and very well organized to always speak truth to power and always feast Anambriarians with , the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
The PDP, leaves the APGA Leadership and Supporters with the illusion that they will still remain in office beyond 2022, until their rejection by Anambriarians in d upcoming 2021 elections dawns on them, as PDP through popular mandate of the people will bounce back to bring good governance.
“The only thing APGA seems to have as an achievement is to make reference to the administration of Dr CC Mbadinuju, but interestingly many individuals who are casting aspersions on that administration were in PDP that time and should take responsibility for the achievements and failure of Odera’s administration.
“It will be good if APGA Leadership can be bold enough to come up with what the Obiano, controlled government has done with the whooping N75b left in the treasury of Anambra State by Mr Peter Obi.
“Today, it is on record that the indebtedness of Anambra State is third in the nation which was not so before Obianos government came on board. The infrastructural decay in the state is unprecedented and all the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) allegedly entered into by Chief Willie Obiano’s government did not fly. How does any right thinking person expect PDP to emulate this already failed APGA?” He quipped.
Mr Nwangwu said emphatically that the dream of APGA Chairman, Nobert Obi to see PDP towing the old order in the next governorship election would certainly become a nightmare for him and his followers as PDP is united, better and stronger than the evil imagination of the persons who are responsible for running Anambra State underground.
“Our members, members of the State and National Assembly, governorship aspirants, have all been giving palliatives to Ndi Anambra without making any show of it. That is what is expected in any Christian setting. Of course, APGA wants us to donate into the Convid 19 account set up by the administration which cannot account for the whooping amount of money they inherited from their predecessor, is that not laughable?” Mr Nwangwu said.
The PDP spokesman, reassured Ndi Anambra that his party will continue to play her role as the leading opposition political party in Anambra State not minding the activities of few individuals who are the beneficiaries of the clueless administration of the day while waiting for 2021 when they would have shown the APGA government the way out of Government House Awka.
