Sports: Finally Chelsea’s New Signings arrive London

Chelsea have long awaited the arrival of their new signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech both officially join Chelsea today, July 1st, and will train separately from the first team, says manager Frank Lampard.
Hakim Ziyech has confirmed he will join Chelsea, as planned, on July 1 despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Ziyechagreed to move to the Blues earlier this year and the deal would mean he would link up with the west Londoners before the start of next season.

Meanwhile, Ziyech will not be eligible to play for Chelsea until the start of the 2020-21 season, meaning that he cannot participate in the conclusion of the current campaign, which was delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
It would have been anything but a good start for Timo at his new club if he had to return to Leipzig for the preparation and the Champions League after the break. “It was the joint vote of all parties involved – and not just Timo’s decision – that he should move to Chelsea on July 1, and not until mid or late August.”
We are very excited that Timo Werner has chosen to join Chelsea.
