Soludo paid a facility visit to Emeka Offor’s Multi-Million dollar stalled project in Lagos
The question remains. Why this visit? Chief Emeka Ofor is the owner of Chrome Oil services group that carried out controversial turn around maintenance of Porthcort moribund refinery during late Gen. S. Abacha’s regime where as Total France did similar controversial job on our kaduna refinery!
The later company’s top management staffers were investigated by their home country and sanctioned in Paris for corruption but Nigerian pioneer 1999 Senate committee on Oil and gas report Headed by Senator Bringidi from Bayelsa State that investigated controversial turn around maintenance of Portharcout moribund refinery did not see the light of day!
Nigeria’s Billions of dollars were disbursed through Excro account domicile overseas for equipments fabrications and procurement without value added!
From the captioned the Governor of Anambra State made facilities visit (tour) to the aforementioned indigenous company’s industrial site in Lagos to achieve what?
I don’t think our state with paucity of public finance amidst challenging ecological issues, dilapidated infrastructure especially roads, none availability of clean water among other competing public needs should go for such in the name of attraction of investments!
