Senator Ekwunife Visits FCET Umunze, rallies support for e-learning
The lawmaker representing Anambra Central Constituency in the National Assembly, Senator Uche Ekwunife, today unveiled 100 pieces of electronic tablets, which she attracted to the Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, Anambra State through the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC).
She said the project was part of efforts to provide institutions with necessary facilities for seamless migration to e-learning platform, which has become viable due to the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.
The Senator decried the dilapidated state of the College access road and called for immediate action to save staff and students from prolonged distress.
Iyom, who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Science and Technology, was received by the College Management, led by the Provost, Dr Tessy Okoli.
