Rio Ferdinand names Man United’s number one goalkeeper

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has named David de Gea ahead of Dean Henderson as his Red Devils’ number one goalkeeper.
De Gea travelled to Spain for the birth of his first child and will miss Man United’s next five matches.
The Spaniard is expected to return to Old Trafford after the international break.
However, Henderson has already performed well in De Gea’s absence, keeping clean sheets in games against Crystal Palace and Manchester City, respectively.
Ferdinand added: “Dean Henderson did what he was meant to do. He went in there and looked commanding. So it is down to Ole now. We have to wait and see what he does.
“It’s difficult. We all know it can be rosy this week and not the next. Listen, I hope he does well, young English goalkeeper, but at the moment, I have got to be honest, I would go with David de Gea for his experience. He’s the number one goalkeeper.”
