Rear Admiral Okeke deserves national honour for his great job in the South-South region – Niger Delta youth forum

A group of Niger Delta youths under the umbrella of Niger Delta Youth Forum under the leadership of Priye Brown has commended the commander of the joint taskforce, South-South OPERATION DELTA SAFE, Rear Admiral Okeke for his excellent and gallant job in the region.

The youth recapitulated that the region had never had someone like Admiral Okeke who is dedicated and sincere in his fight against oil bunkering in the region, they maintained that his position is very sensitive and influential as he’s bound to receive enticing and persuading offers from the bunker -traders in the region but he has proved to be honest and sincere with his job by squashing bunkering activities in the region.

Finally, the Youth president implored the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to confer a national award on him “We can’t have such a rare jewel in the Nigerian Navy and refuse to acknowledge his immense impact, I want to appeal to the president to bestow a national award on him for his stupendous work in the region”
