The Director General of Importers Association of Nigeria Taskforce, IMAN Amb. Chijioke Okoro has reiterated that he wasn’t against the Youths neither was he dissuading the youths from protesting because he’s on the payroll of the government but because the protest was hijacked and marred with violence as he anticipated.

Speaking to newsmen today in Abuja he reiterated that he doesn’t want people to misconceive or misinterpret his gesture “I’m not against the protest because I know that the hardship is real and there’s hunger in Nigeria, I just wanted the youths to be prudent and embrace dialogue because the president was ready to dialogue, after dialogue if the government refuses to stoop then further protest would have been necessary all the casualties we had wouldn’t have occurred”.
