The police on Wednesday announced the arrest of two key suspects linked to the recent deadly attacks on communities in Plateau State, which have claimed over 100 lives, destroyed homes, and displaced many residents.

In response, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has imposed new security measures, including a ban on night grazing and the transportation of cattle by vehicle after 7:00 pm. He also restricted the use of motorcycles between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am across the state.

Governor Mutfwang, in a statewide broadcast, said the measures aim to restore peace and enhance vigilance in the affected areas.
