PG ASMATA, Mayor Oyi LGA Commends Executives of Drymeat Preservers Traders Association for Construction of New Market

Chief Humphrey Anuna the President General of Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association (ASMATA) has commended the Executives and entire Traders of Drymeat Preservers Traders Association (DMPTA) for uniting in peace to build their new market “Drymeat Preservers Traders Association (DMPTA) International Market Umunya Oyi LGA noting that for the fact that his office the official head of all traders in the state did not receive any report of wrong doing or theft from any member of the market against the executives during the construction of the market showed that the executive did marvelously well and should be commended together with the entire traders of the market.
Making this commendation while speaking as the chief guest of honour during the official opening of the market which is situated along Enugu-Awka-Onitsha express way, Umunya axis opposite Rhema Mountain Cathedral held at Umunya Oyi LGA last weekend Saturday, Anuna while at the same time commending the resilience of traders of the market to build the market and make themselves owners or shops instead of tenants, assured that he as the traders leader in the state will carry the good news to the state government, who he said as traders friendly government will intervene and ensures that the market is provided with necessary supports like infrastructural developments, security etc just as he appealed to them to endeavour to fulfill their necessary obligations to the government.
Speaking also Chief Emmanuel Nweke the local government Mayor of Oyi LGA expressed happiness for the entire traders of the market to choose Umunya in Oyi LGA as a place to site the market.
He assured them that the land will prosper their businesses and also commended the executives and all the traders promising that the local government administration will partner with them in area of sanitation, waste disposal and as well complement the state government to provide security to ensure smooth operation of the market.
Earlier while welcoming guests who came to witnessed the ceremony, Chief Ikechukwu Aniude the Chairman of the market while expressing gratitude to God for helping him and executives to construct the market, praised the entire traders for their support and confidence in him and his executives.
Remarking that the construction of such a big market was not easy for them, He thanked the ASMATA President General as well as other friends, stakeholders of the market for encouraging them to achieved their target.
Speaking to newsmen during the occasion, Mr, Aniobi Chinonso the Secretary of the market, Chief Uchechukwu Nwarugo, the Vice Chairman, Chief Ejike Nanna, the Chief Taskforce of the market all expressed gratitude to God for granting the executives the strength and resources to complete the market.
The duo who appealed to all their members to co-operate with the executives and relocate from their old site at Woliwo to their new site now at Umunya, they chorused that with God on their side that there new market will thrive.
Adding their voice, Mr. Ikechukwu Joseph Orji, a member of the market and another key stakeholder, Chief Kenneth Mbah and Dr. Emmanuel Uchenna Nworie, PG Ihueze Nenwe Enugu State a friend of the market, commended the executives led by Chief Ikechukwu Aniude for their doggedness, commitment and transparency during the construction of the market just as they prayed for God to bless the market to be a source of well being of individual traders.
