Peter Obi Intervenes in P-Square’s Ongoing Feud, Visits Peter Okoye

Labour Party’s presidential candidate in last year’s election, Peter Obi, has stepped in to mediate the ongoing feud between the Okoye brothers by visiting Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P.
This visit follows Obi’s earlier meeting with Paul Okoye, the other half of the defunct music duo, P-Square.
The brothers, along with their older sibling Jude Okoye, have been at the center of media attention due to tensions that resurfaced after a series of social media posts suggested a fallout.
In an interview with City FM, Lagos, Paul Okoye confirmed the renewed conflict, accusing Peter of instigating his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter Okoye has denied reporting his brother to the EFCC and instead accused their older brother Jude of siphoning millions of dollars from their joint account into a secret company.
“Their focus was to remain solely on the primary suspects, Jude Okoye and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye – since they were the directors of this secret company, Northside Music. Paul’s recent interview about the EFCC incident contains a lot of lies,” Peter wrote.
According to Daily Trust, the conflict between Paul and Peter initially started in 2017, leading to their split as a group and their pursuit of solo careers. Though they reconciled in November 2021, recent events have reignited tensions between them.
