Passion or Wealth: My Career Quest.

Passion
Growing up as a child, I loved books. Fiction, nonfiction, journals, religion, health, romance, name it!.
I carried my book everywhere. To the toilet, during mealtime, during holiday visits, I had this book addiction, I read every waste paper before disposing it.
Little wonder I grew with this strong passion to be a communicator.
I wrote novels, most of which I never got to complete.
I had a dream. A dream which involved the media.
But…
My parents were not having it. Not just them, my relatives and friends too.
“You’d be jobless for a better part of your life. There is no job opportunity!”
This and so many comments were aimed at discouraging me.
Career Quest

But I didn’t mind. I knew what I wanted and was ready to struggle for it. I cared less
