Angry fans Attack Super Eagle1s Players Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium After Defeat. Benin fans threw stones on Super Eagles team bus as they leave the stadium for their hotel.

The Benin fans are angry following their 4 – 4 draw against Sierra Leone at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

The Eagles led by four goal, but later conceded four goals in the game and it was the first time since their 4:1 defeat to Ghana in February 2007.

The Super Eagles last conceded that much at home grounds was way back in October 1965 – a 4:0 defeat to Ghana in the Azikiwe Cup.

Meanwhile the Super Eagles are the only team to have hit double figures so far in the Afcon qualifiers – 10 goal scored.

However, they boast the second worst defensive record of any team to have scored 5+ goals so far in the tournament – 7 goals conceded; only behind Libya (8)
