Nigeria Nation Hijacked By Political Elites Who Forms Political Clubs – Ex Chairman NBA Aguata

Bar. Clifford Iloegbune Okoye Ex Chairman of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Aguata Branch Anambra State and a member of this year 2025 NBA National Body National Conference Planning Committee has asserted that Nigeria as a nation is hijacked by Political elites who forms Political Clubs instead of Political Parties noting that, that is the reason all existing Political Parties don’t have Ideologies which could have made them to be effective in solving the problem of the masses:
Making this assertion while speaking to newsmen on Political developments and ongoing hardship in the country, Iloegbune, a social critic and a human right lawyer who said that he is pained in his heart as a result of this ugly development that has adversely drawing the country development index backward under democratic governance stated that until the country have a group of political leaders who comes on board with political ideologies aim at serving the masses that the country will continue stumbling and fumbling for the masses to continue witnessing bad governance, sufferings and abject Poverty etc.
Said he, “As a result of these Political Clubs which lacks Ideologies, these politicians unfortunately has Weaponized Poverty and hunger such that youth who are supposed to come up and ask for a change are now busy fighting for bread as hunger and economic starvation has overwhelmed them to give up, adding that these wicked politicians has been deploying ethnic Political dichotomy to perpetuate themselves in power”.
On his assessment of APC Led administration Since Ex President Mohammed Buhari to Current President, Alhaji Ahmed Tinubu. The legal practitioner said that Nigeria nation Under APC led government is the worst so far as they have nothing to write home about improvement of people welfare.
Said he again “Ex President Buhari dealt with the Country, destroyed the economy, left the country with monumental debts, security situation was nothing to write home about as mass killings and unnecessary shading of blood took the Centre Stage, President Tinubu Came up with high inflation, rise in cost of living, increase in Price of Fuel and so many other Policies which are suffocating the people. To me, APC led government has disappointed the people”
