Ngo-Nnobi Women to float Toilet paper industry

The women of Ngo quarters of Nnobi in Idemili south has solicited for funds to set up a toilet paper industry as a means of empowering their women and youths.

This formed amajor part of their program during the 2019 Inyom Ngo Nnobi Summit that held recently at Umuegbu Civic center, Nnobi.
Presenting her welcome address, the Chairlady, Mrs. Ezeimo Ngozi said that they targeted building a Toilet paper industry which would provide employment opportunities and better living for their community members.
“Our summitt his year is to establish a standard Toilet roll industry. This will empower our youths and women. We are hoping to raise about 5million naira for theproject.
“The current leadership has intentions towards better living standards for our families,training young mothers to be self employed, fostering peace by settling disputes among Ngo Nnobi women”, said Ezeimo.

The vice chair-lady, Mrs. Francisca Ogbuchi advised women to promote unity urging them to raise their children inthe fear of God who would shun cultism , drug abuse and other vices.
Moreover, theNgo Nnobi women secretary, Mrs. Juliana Amaefuna enjoined women to avoid depending on starchy food but consume more of fruits and vegetables as a panacea to cholesterol.
Igwe Nich Obi of Nnobi ably represented by Chief Akubue Samuel Ojukwu blessed and encouraged the women for their noble project saying that the entire Igwe’s cabinet was behind them.
Earlier in his remarks, The Occasion Chairman, Ndulue Collins asked the women not to lose focus saying that establishing such industry requires work plan and expertise assistance until the industry was established.

Chief Mrs.Nnekwelugo Ifeyinwa and Chief Mrs.Juliet Azugotold the women to endeavor to channel the proceeds realized from the launching appropriately saying that as people see the progress they would invest more.
Meanwhile,The Chief launcher, Emeka Agbanari represented by Amaechi Mbanefo said that the reason why they sponsor such projects was to help eradicate poverty urging the women to remain one in all their endeavors.

Highlights of the summit include prayers for the women by guest clergy, health talk, cultural dance by Egunoba, Auction sales, Thanksgiving by wards, fund raising and refreshments.
