Netzence and EHCON Partner to Launch Carbon Registries for Climate Action and Environmental Health

The Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON) has partnered with Netzence Sustainability Limited to establish carbon registries aimed at enhancing the tracking and management of carbon footprints and environmental health across Nigeria. This collaboration will support Nigeria’s efforts to meet global climate goals, including the UN’s Net Zero target by 2060. The carbon registries will provide transparency, inform decision-making, and help with infrastructure planning while promoting sustainable practices. This initiative aligns with Nigeria’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions and improve public health, while encouraging industries to adopt low-carbon technologies. The partnership will also include capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and the development of data-driven solutions to monitor carbon emissions effectively.
