NDLEA Arrests 22 in Kano Drug Raids

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kano has arrested 22 suspects during coordinated raids across key drug hotspots in the state.
NDLEA spokesperson Sadiq Muhammad-Maigatari said the April 10 operation targeted areas including Dan’agundi, Gwangwazo, Farm Centre, Tashar Rami, and Filin Idi.
Seized items included cannabis, “suck and die,” rubber solution, and locally made arms. Suspected dealers will face prosecution, while identified drug users will undergo rehabilitation under the agency’s Drug Demand Reduction Programme.
The command pledged continued efforts to combat drug abuse and trafficking across the state.
