N-power Volunteers forms Enhancement Now Transition- Hope Rekindled: President Buhari led government had promised to lift 100 million Nigeria from Strict poverty, hence massive investment in youth’s employment and empowerment called N-power was launched.

The N-power programme started with 200,000 persons named beneficiaries also known as Volunteers, there after 300,000 volunteers were added making it 500,000 N-power volunteers

During registration, a contractual agreement of two years was signed by volunteers before submission of application will be successful.

At the expiration of the two-year agreement, volunteers of batch A started agitating for extension of the programme

2019 General Election was near, the government wants to run for another four years without hitches or hurdles, the 500,000 volunteers from the first and second batches were promised “the Next Level”.

In an occasion, one of the clusters head of the programme said, volunteers should used their voters’ card to determine their future, by implication, vote for the present government if volunteers want the programme to continue with an assurance of permanency.

The election came and went, and the ruling party was elected for another four years, suddenly the threat the exit batch A reappeared. It was matched with much resistance

 There was no plan on ground to exit batch A into a viable and sustaining venture. The Government became over stretched with burdens, thus, the need to relief batch A intensified

Many national dailies were used to “test the waters”, rumors of disengagement flow like a “park of card.
