N-Power Beneficiaries Meeting with Senate President about Permanency and Exit package.

All N-Power representative from 36 States gathered together at Abuja today for a peaceful protest to the National Assembly of Nigeria to meet the Senate president about their issue of permanency and exit package.

The, National president of N-Power Beneficiaries, Comrade Pelumi Aliyu and other representative had a close meeting with senate where they address N-Power issue, and after the meeting the president and other representative gave us the feedback of the meeting.

Let see the outcome of the meeting.

The Senate gave all batch A and Batch B N-Power Beneficiaries a hope that non of them is going to be thrown out of the programme without good exist package.

The Senate president was represented by senator Onor Sandy Ojang, the senator representing Cross River Central, and he addressed N-Power representative that, the delay in payment of Stipends, Backlog payment and the disengagement are going to be looked at by the senate president and action will be taken with immediate effect. Senator Onor appreciated the beneficiaries for the civilised way they conducted themselves.

He assured all N-Power Beneficiaries on behalf of Nigerian Lawmakers that all their demands especially the issue of “permanency” would be meant with immediate effect.

As Lawmakers, we will follow due process to make sure that you are given a permanent job, Senator Onor Added.
