MWYEEN Empowers Youths to Mark 2024 International Youth Day

Awka, Anambra State – In a bid to mark International Youth Day, the Mercyseat Women and Youth Enhancement and Empowerment Foundation (MWYEEN), in collaboration with Rehoboth Ferd-Tech Academy, Ecko Gardens Limited, Build the Youths Potential Initiative, and the Nutrition Society of Nigeria, organized a youth congress on August 15, 2024, at the ADP Complex, Kwata, Awka.

The event, themed “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” attracted numerous youths from across Awka city. It aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills for life enhancement through technology and digital proficiency.

Key highlights of the congress included insightful lectures from distinguished resource persons such as Mr. Emeka Okoli, founder/CEO of Ecko Gardens Nig. Ltd., Obianuju Orjiekwe-Ezenkwele, a registered dietician and nutritionist, and Adekunle Asimiyu, an IT specialist. These experts addressed various impactful topics, providing attendees with life-changing knowledge and digital skills.
In her opening speech, the host and founder of MWYEEN, emphasized the importance of seizing the opportunities presented. “This event is designed to open your minds to the possibilities that digital skills can offer, even as students. These skills have the potential to transform your financial status,” she stated.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to participants and speakers, marking a successful and inspiring day. The founder of MWYEEN expressed her gratitude to all attendees and encouraged the youths to leverage the knowledge gained to better their lives.
