Movement For Good Governance, Conscience Applauds Soludo’s Election Victory
One of the support groups that advocated Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s election as Governor, the Movement for Good Governance and Conscience, has commemorated his victory at the just decided governorship election pledging to give him the needed support to succeed.
Correspondent Kenechukwu Chukwudi reports that the group, which started as a conscience group that seeks people of integrity to vie for political office, supported Professor Soludo, from the point of his party nomination to election.
Speaking during the event in Awka, Comrade Uche Egbebuike, the Convener of the group emphasized that the group has no doubt in the capacity of the Governor-Elect to succeed, as the group will always avail him of their support.
In their remarks, a legal adviser of the group, Mr. Ekemezie Obidigwe and the Co-ordinator of the group for Anambra South, Mr. Ugochukwu Chukwudi said the group first clamoured for him, given his pedigree in the financial sector, leadership roles and noted that the group has always and will still be of immense support to Professor Soludo, as he remains focused to achieve his manifesto for Ndi Anambra and turn their economic fortune around.
In this same vein, a patron of the group, Mr. Emeka Obido and the group Woman Leader, Mrs. Ngozi Manafa pointed out that the group will always seek ways to notify the incoming Governor areas in governance that needs his attention.
Other members of the group who spoke, Mr. Vitalis Uche and Mrs. Comfort Okeke, appreciated the convener of the group, the patrons and every member for remaining resolute and true, to the aims and objective of the group.
