Mentally Unstable Man Kills Woman, Twin Children in Abia
A mentally unstable man, identified as Ibekwe Augustine James, has allegedly killed his twin nephews, Moses and Marvelous Chris, and their mother, Chinomso Nwabali James, in Umuahia, Abia State.
The suspect reportedly buried the twins in shallow graves after taking their lives. According to Abia State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chinaka, the incident was reported by a family member who witnessed James dragging Chinomso’s lifeless body. The suspect abandoned the body and fled when the alarm was raised.
A police search led to the discovery of the dismembered twins’ bodies in different shallow graves within the community. The victims’ remains have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, for an autopsy. Authorities are currently searching for the fleeing suspect.
