Market Executives Gift Cash, Items To Indegents As They Celebrate Chairman On His Birthday

The Executives of Sokoto Road Market Onitsha South Local Government Area, Anambra State, have gifted cash and items worth millions of naira to Indegents to mark the market chairman’s Hon Emeka Mbachu’s, a.k.a Isimmili Mbaukwu birthday on 22 Dec 2024.

Speaking on the development, the Patron of the market who is also the Chairman One Love Line, Mr Amechi Ifeanyichukwu noted that Hon.Mbachu has being a source of solace to the traders, who always cares for the needy, down trodden, stating that there is none of the past market chairman to compare with him.

“Apart from what he did yesterday, he has been doing that, very accountable ,a vibrant young man, very transparent and the traders all love him, I pray that God will continue to provide, guide, protect him and also pray that he would not deviate from all these good works.

Another Line Chairman, Fidelity line, Mr Eva Ibezimako described Hon.Mbachu as a leader with an exceptional leadership skills, saying that it is the chairman that insisted that the celebration must be with the less privileged , we visited the general hospital Onitsha, where he gave cash of #50,000 to 2 people and #75,000 to another 2.

“Then we visited Red Cross and the Holy Family Sisters of the Needy where mentally and physically challenged children are being taken care of at Niger street, I don’t even know that such place exist, I was shocked at the conditions of those children over there, we prayed for them as well after the items and the cash.

“I saw Hon.Mbachu as a selfless man, let others emulate him, he always carries everybody along, though he informed us that he want to celebrate with the less privileged but we are the one that suggested the places we visited.

Earlier while speaking with Newsman on his birthday celebration, Hon Mbachu thanked God for adding another year to him, stated that 22 Dec was his birthday which to him,22 means double blessings to everyone’s endeavours, noted that the celebration was Kickstarted by his executives who informed him that they want to celebrate for him.

“My executives and traders decided on their own to celebrate my birthday for me but I informed them that I prefer to celebrate with the motherless homes, that was my intention.

“But due to excess gifts, we divided the items into two, we went to Red Cross, give them cash of #50,000, tissues, cartons of indomie, biscuit, children’s wears etc.

“We went to general hospital to bail someone but unfortunately the person has being discharged the day before our arrival, then on leaving, we came across two kids who are hospitalized but has no money for their medications,we gave them #75,000 each.

“We met another patience, a sickler being hospitalized for 3 years but not married with another person, we gave #25,000 to each of them.

“At Niger Street, I shed tears at the conditions of these children, that was the first day of knowing the place, I don’t know that such place exist in Fegge, we gave them clothes, provisions,#50.000, among other things.

Items shared during the visit was packets of Pampers, cartons of indomie, biscuits, provisions, rolls of tissue, 1 big bag of children’s wears, eye glasses, I bucket of perfumes, plus #500,000 cash among other items
