Market Chairman Lauds Governor Soludo On Construction Of Market Access Road, Others

The Chairman of Sokoto Road Market, Onitsha South Local Government Area, Hon Emeka Mbachu, a.k.a Isimmili Mbaukwu has lauded Governor Soludo on the construction of roads especially Niger Street which is the access road to his market and to Main market, awarding of many roads which one of them is in his community, Mbaukwu-Awgbu road.

Hon.Mbachu made while making this laudable remarks in an interview with Newsman in his office at the market stated that they have written many times to the previous administrations on the road but their efforts were fruitless until Governor Soludo took over, awarded and constructed the road with drainages and the sakamori that crossed over to River Niger.

According to him”With all these developmental strides on ground, construction of health centers, free education to government primary and secondary schools, Governor Soludo’s second tenure is not disputable, he is a God sent.

“It is in his administration that I have witnessed massive decamping to APGA as a party with good governance.

He also commended the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Market, Chief Evaristus Uba, the PG, Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna and Hon.Chief Emeka Orji for their outstanding performances so far.

On his preparedness on security and against fire outbreak during these festive periods, Hon Mbachu reiterated his readiness, stated that his security men are well trained in terms of monitoring any form of robbery, pick pockets, bag snatchers and others.

He Said ” I atimes parade with my Security Men, all my task force around the market despite being crowded, just to create awareness or create fear on these criminals, I have stopped anything routing.

“In terms of fire outbreak, I have informed all the plazas within here to provide fire extinguisher for their shops, we are fully armed, I can assure you of that.

In his Christmas message, he advised the traders to share love by extending the spirit of giving, helping one another and prayed also that they would all celebrate the season and come back hale and hearty without anyone found wanting.
