Kogi Jailbreak: Three Escaped Inmates Recaptured, Officer Killed – NCoS
Three of the 12 inmates who escaped from Koton Karfe Correctional Centre in Kogi State have been rearrested, the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) has confirmed.
Speaking at a press briefing on Monday, Acting Controller General Sly Nwakuche disclosed that one correctional officer was killed during the jailbreak.
He assured that efforts were underway to capture the remaining escapees and urged the public to assist security agencies with relevant information.
