Kenya has announced a visa-free policy for citizens of all African countries, except Somalia and Libya, due to security concerns. The new directive, approved by the cabinet, abolishes the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) requirement, allowing citizens of most African nations to visit Kenya visa-free for up to two months. East African Community (EAC) members, including Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi, can stay for up to six months in line with EAC regulations. While no specific timeline for implementation has been set, Kenya plans to introduce an improved system for instant travel approval, with a processing time of up to 72 hours.
