Kebbi Governor Approves N585.4 Million for Tuition Fees of 100 Students in India
Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has sanctioned the release of N585.4 million for the payment of tuition fees for 100 students currently studying in various universities across India. The Commissioner for Higher Education, Alhaji Isah Abubakar-Tunga, disclosed this during a press conference on Monday in Birnin Kebbi. He emphasized that the funding is intended for Kebbi indigenes pursuing their studies in the South Asian country, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to fostering both academic and moral excellence in higher education. The commissioner urged the people of Kebbi to continue offering prayers for the success of the current administration, both individually and collectively.
