Jubilation in Anambra as Chibuzo Joseph Ekwoanya weds heartthrob, Chinaza Favour Onwuzulike

Indeed the weeding between Ekwoanya Chibuzo and his heartthrob Onwuzulike Chinaza Favour was a memorable event in Awka North in particular and Anambra state at large.
The glitz and glamour transcended these shores as their tears of joy and happiness were unique. Friends abroad and within witnessed their Marital vows as they walked down the alter to exchange their marriage vows.
www.odogwublog.com reports exclusively that the ceremony held at Redemption Church (Anglican Communion) Dioceses of Awka, Awka South local government Area of Anambra state witnessed the presence of dignitaries within Anambra, Nigeria and in diaspora including, HRH Ephraim Chukwunweuwa Nnaemaka among others.
In his sermon, Ven Dr Obiorah Alokwu who took his Bible reading from the book of Ist Corinthians chapter 13 verse 4, advised the couple to love and forgive one another always.

He further said” God invented marriage and gives standard how marriage should flow, even though people Marry for different purposes. Some will marry their wives here and dump her husband and leave, when they come back they will impregnate her and leave again while some marry because they are mature.

Ven Dr Alokwu according to www.odogwublog.com correspondent further said,” The essence of marriage is (1) There should be advancement with the kingdom of God. That is automatically you have come to God and your marriage is an extension of your kingdom.

“Secondly, marriage is a covenant, you fell in love and you marry. For you to stay in a marriage you need to work in love and working in love is where the aspect of the covenant comes in. Love does not argue.
“There is no space for grudges, you need to allow long-suffering to come in. You must bear with him and you must bear with her. Remember that both of you are working toward being one. As you depend on God, gradually that oneness will be perfected in Jesus name.

“Love coverage a lot of things, if God is the foundation of your marriage, you should love and forgive. Marriage is for two forgivers. Forgive because you are in covenant.
“This good thing that we saw today if it must continue you will learn how to work in love.

“Our prayer for you is that God will give you grace as you have woken Hm. May He give you peace, May children add flavour to your marriage. I bless you in the name of the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He concluded.

The chairman of the occasion, HRH Ephraim Chukwunweuwa Nnaemka blessed the new couple and declared that ” It shall be well with the couple,
He said: “Anybody that says they will not live. He is a great tree in Urum, they will live and God will be with them all the days of their life.

In reaction and appreciation, the couple in one voice said ” We say big thank you to God Almighty whose guidance, love and protection have brought us this far, we adore Him.

“And to our parents, friends and families for their immense support in making this day a success. Words alone cannot describe the joy we feel. God bless you in Jesus name. Amen.
In a separate chat with the celebrant’s parents, they were full of praises to God for bringing the families together.
www.odogwublog.com reports that according to Mr Simon Ekwoanya (Bridegrooms father), he expressed happiness and prayed « that they will Prosper and have joy in their marriage. He prayed that they will bear and train their children and their children will take care of them.
For Mrs Georgina Ekwoanya (Bridegroom’s mother) who was dancing and rejoicing all day, she prayed and said ” My heart is full of joy and happiness and declared that they will prosper, have peace and his wife will bear children ( male and female) and they will not lack”.
Again, Mrs Amaka Onwuzulike (Bride’s mother) who was full of happiness said ” In fact, I give God all the glory, He is worthy, I thank God for today. I honour the name of the lord.
She prayed to God to bless the family with every good thing, whatever that will be their desire, God will grant it for them.
She said: “Whatever thing that is their heart desire that is what God will give them. They will flourish, they will have their children. The blessings of God will be upon them and they will live to declare the goodness of God.
Also speaking, Mr Damian Onwuzulike, ( Father of the bride) said that ” I am so delighted and so happy. I thank God for a day like this, And, I have been waiting for this day. I am glad. It’s a thing of Joy to see my daughter getting married.
“I thank God I am alive today not that somebody is representing me.
“By the grace of God who made it possible for me to be alive today I am so happy..
“I pray and declare that All mighty God will keep them, give them long life, prosper them they will have children, be able to train them and their children will, in turn, take good care of them at their old age. That’s my sincere prayers and I believe that God Almighty is going to see us through in Jesus name Amen.
Felix Anukwu, Mrs Ekwoanya Udochukwu and many others prayed for God’s blessings upon Mr and Mrs Chibuzo Ekwoanya.
It was fun till midnight at the Emmaus House Field venue of reception as goats were used as Kola for guests. It was indeed a memorable occasion as people of the Urum Community led by the President General, Chief Aloysius Tabansi were on the ground in solidarity even as guests had their fill in music and Entertainment.
www.odogwublog.com reports that in an interview, Chief Mathew Ekworoanya better known as MC Ichoku of Purity Fm Awka described his younger brother as the man of the people hence his wedding was like a carnival of sorts and prayed God to bless their marriage.
