Igbo Ancient Kingdom pronounce Dec.16th,17th and 18th as days of propitiation in Igbo land
Igbo Ancient kingdom Cultural Association,a foremost organisation that promotes and preserves the culture of the Igbo speaking race have pronounced 16th,17th and 18th of December as special days for spiritual cleansing in the Igbo land
Mazi Samuel Donald Nwankwo,the president of the organisation ascribed the bad happenings and impediments in the Igbo land to lack of sacrifices and cleansings to placate and propitiate for some bloodsheds and killing of innocent people.
As a custodian of the culture of the Igbo’s,Igbo Ancient kingdom Cultural Association has pronounced 16th, 17th and 18th of December as days of propitiation in the Igbo land.These days were carefully selected for the certain rituals and sacrifices to help restore peace and ultimately bring development in the Igbo land.
All the Igbo speaking people all over the world, irrespective of where they are, are implored to participate so that the Igbo race can fascinate the much needed development and advancement .
