ICPC, SGF, NOA TASKS NIGERIAN STUDENTS ON HARD WORK, EXECELLENT PERFORMANCE

The principles of hard work, integrity and excellent performance were recently celebrated at Nneoma Community Secondary School Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area, where the State Director National Orientation Agency, Anambra State, Barrister Charles Nwoji, presented a golden trophy to the leadership of the School for emerging first position in the "Fall In Love With Nigeria Competition "organized by Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Office of the Secretary to the Federation (SGF), in collaboration with National Orientation Agency (NOA)for forty Integrity Clubs in the Secondary Schools across the State.
Presented also by the NOA Director, Barrister Charles Nwoji in the course of the event to the School authority amidst the cheering members of the Integrity Club of the School were copies of literature on the programme, letters of commendation and recognition from the Director-General of NOA, Dr Garba Abari, Certificate of Recognition as the State winner of the competition, Register and a Booklet for the Integrity Club.
Making the presentations in the Hall of Honour of the School, Barrister Nwoji, commended the Staff and Students of School for exhibiting a high sense of hard work and dedication during the competition which he said has as it's the theme: "My Role In Making The Nigeria of My Dream "
He noted that the emergence of the school in the first position among other forty integrity clubs in the state is a clear indication that the Integrity Club is very active in the School.
He opined that the Integrity Club was established by the Federal Government to rejuvenate the spirit of morality in the lives of Nigerian Students at all levels across the Nation.
According to him, the event is a first phase, as well as a pilot scheme wthatallows the students to portray what they want Nigeria to be through drama presentation, oratory and poetry.







The NOA boss, further disclosed that the competition was held on the fourth of February, 2022 while the result came out on the tenth of the same month with the Nneoma Secondary School, Nibo, emerging as the overall winner of the competition in the State, adding that the School did not bribe for the trophy, rather they worked for it.
While asking the Students to embrace hard work as the only sure way to achieving this enduring success, the NOA Director, made a firm promise that the Agency would do all within its powers to bring the School to the limelight.
Receiving the golden trophy and other items presented to her, the Principal of the School, Dr Mrs Cordelia Okonkwo, described the program as apt, especially now that society is deteriorating in terms of moral behaviour, encouraging NOA to step up more action towards making the society better for all.
She assured that the School is ever ready to participate in whatever competition that comes to the State and always ready to come first, commending NOA for organizing the brief ceremony to honour their success at the competition.
The Coordinator of the Integrity Club in the School Mrs Eziofor Dorothy Akuanata, Senior Prefect of the School, Master John Odie and his Deputy, Miss Anosike Love, in their separate speeches, thanked God for their performance in the competition, noting that they were elated when the news of their excellent performance in the competition filtered into the School.
The Community Sensitization and Mobilization Officer of NOA in charge of Awka South Local Government Area, Mrs Ifeoma Umeh, charged Members of the Integrity Club of the School to always put in practice what they learnt from the competition for a successful future.
The official handover of the golden trophy to the Principal of the School, Dr Okonkwo and other vital documents by NOA Director Barrister Nwoji as well as group photographs with the Students formed the highlights of the event.
