Governor Obiano To Increase Allowances Of Corps Members in Anambra state

Anambra State government has increased the allowances of members of the National Youth Service Corps serving in the hinterlands.

The Head of Service, Mr Harry Uduh disclosed this when members of the Batch C stream Two of the National Youth Service Corps visited him in his office at the Jerome Udorji Secretariat Complex in Awka.
According to the Head of Service, the increase will be implemented from the next batch of Corps Members who may be posted to such areas saying that it is aimed at motivating Corps Members posted to interior areas of the State.

He thanked the Members of the National Youth Service Corps for appreciating the efforts of the Anambra State government through the presentation of an award of excellence to him which he dedicated to Governor Willie Obiano and members of the State Executive Council.
The State number one Civil Servant maintained that security of life and property will remain top priority of the Obiano administration.
In her remark, the Director of Training, Office of the Head of Service, Mrs Nwando Obiano charged the Corps Members to remain focused.
Earlier, the spokesperson of the group, Mr. Augustine Nomigo, thanked the Anambra State government for providing them with a conducive environment to serve.
