FLASH: Professor Umenweke emerges Convocation rep

Immediate Past Dean, Faculty of Law, Professor Meshach Nnama Umenweke has just been elected as the new Convocation representative into the Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Professor Umenweke polled a total of 750 votes to emerge winner.
Breakdown of the result is as follows:

Dr. Kingsley Ubaoji – 586
Dr. Nestor Amahalu – 247
Dr. Nkoli Nyigide – 124
Mr. Ejiofor Umegbogu – 51
