Drama As Girl, 22 Stabs Boyfriend To Death
The Delta state police command has arrested a 22-year-old woman, one Hope David, for allegedly stabbing her lover, Justice Esiri, 24, to death.
According to source who preferred anonymity, the lovers had a misunderstanding which led to a fight during which Hope stabbed Justice with a kitchen knife.
The victim was reportedly rushed to the General Hospital in Abraka, where he was confirmed dead by a doctor.
Spokesperson for the police command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, said the suspect was in police custody. Onovwakpoyeya told journalists that the corpse (deceased) had been deposited in a hospital morgue.
