Conduct Yourselves Respectfully, Atiku Tells Supporters

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on his supporters across the country to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections made the appeal via his Twitter handle on Sunday.
He told his supporters to ignore insults, falsehoods, and threats but remain focused on the task of rebuilding Nigeria.
Atiku also asked them not to engage in any war of words but stated their views with facts.
He made the plea four days after he disclosed that women and youths would occupy at least 40 per cent of his cabinet if elected president.
Atiku had criticised President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) government for the economic status of the nation.
Alleging that Nigeria has become the world headquarters for “extreme poverty”, he stressed that the way out was to empower women and youths in the country.

For everyone who supports me, I ask you to conduct yourself respectfully, even with people who do not agree with you.
There will be insults, falsehoods, threats and innuendo. Ignore them and stay focused on the task of rebuilding Nigeria.
