CLO congratulates new NUJ Chairman, Odogwu Emeka Odogwu

Civil Liberty Organisation has joined numerous cooperate bodies to congratulate Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu on his emergence as the New Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Anambra state Council.

This has brought the number of congratulatory letters to two hundred and one among numerous other text messages.

This was contained in a press release issued to newsmen in Awka Anambra endorsed by Comrades Vincent Ezekwueme and Chidi Mbah Chairman and Secretary respectively.

CLO described Dr. Odogwu as a courageous, astute, prolific and selfless Journalist and humanitarian who always tell the truth to the authorities regardless of the consequences.

With his remarkable and outstanding pedigree, there is no doubt in our minds that he has the wherewithal to move the noble organisation to enviable heights. We appeal to him to operate an inclusive government and bear the social welfare of journalists at heart through establishing Journalists Trust Fund and Housing Estate as well as ensuring job security for journalists.

Rewards for excellence and good works are more works. Your elevation as Chairman of Nigeria Union Of Journalists, Anambra State will be a harbinger of more leadership positions at the national level. We pray for more wisdom, grace, good health to enable you to excel in your new assignment.
