Breaking: House of Reps member, Ossy Prestige is dead

A member of the House of Representatives, Ossy Prestige, is dead.

He represented Aba North/South Federal Constituency of Abia State.

There had been rumours about his death in the last few days

Prestige, elected on All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) platform, died after battling an undisclosed illness.

Reps spokesperson, Benjamin Kalu, confirmed the death to Premium Times.

“He has been confirmed dead by a family member,” Kalu said.

The demise of the lawmaker is expected to be announced on the floor of the Green Chamber on Tuesday.
