Anambra: Onitsha South Mayor Celebrates End Of The Year Party, Gives Cash Gifts To Party Faithfuls, Workers

The Onitsha South Local Government Mayor, Hon.Chief Emeka Orji, Dikediebube, has celebrated the end of the year party, gave cash gifts to the local government working committees, Stakeholders, Ward Chairmen, Treasurer, Head of Personnel Management, HPM, Head of Department, Works, Internal Auditor, National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE Chairman among others.
Speaking at the Council Secretariat during the event, Hon.Orji extolled party members for their doggedness throughout the year which yielded positive results, noted that it is good to be good and determined in whatever one is doing.
He also wished them well throughout these festive periods, recalled that Christmas is an annual celebration which would still come next year, urged them to celebrate it responsibly so that by next year 2025, all would be back again to start up.
The Onitsha South Party Chairman, Chief Uche Umeh praised Orji for his good efforts so far, urged him to continue doing good, to help the party to grow, stated that the development of the party is of paramount importance, though there are lot of challenges but let him keep doing his best.
He also advised the party faithfuls to take things easy, to exercise some patience with Governor Soludo who has the good of the party in his heart, reiterated that the governor has a lot of projects ongoing.
He paid more attention on roads, water which we needed most, at the same time, making things easy for us. There would be different next year, people would smile, he pleaded.
He advised the youths to be focused in life, stating that the governor has put in place one youth two skills for the youths to showcase their talents, urged them to make use of that opportunity initiated by Governor Soludo.
In his words, the Supervisory Councillor on Works, Onitsha South LG, Sir Ben Okafor reiterated that Hon.Chief Orji remains number 1, the best among equal, saying that “We have gone round the zones in Onitsha South LG, even the palliatives he is doing himself and the palliatives from the state government.
“We have gone round, we are now on the painting of highways, express, flyovers from bridgehead to borromeo,the Mayor is doing a lot, and he is very intelligent, that’s one thing I love with him and he also works with time.
