Anambra: Man Kills Son, Buries Corpse in shallow grave

A middle aged man has been arrested by the operatives of the police force, Anambra state after he butchered to death his four years old son with a cutlass.

The suspect, an indigene of ihite Azia in Ihiala LGA of the State went further to bury the dead victim in a shallow grave in his compound to cover his evil deed.

These was made known to odogwublog.com through a statement by the PPRO Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed.

According to the Police Spokesman, “at about 3:21:pm, Police operatives attached to Azia Police Station arrested one Christian Alisigwe ‘m’ aged 35 years of ihite Azia in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State”.

Haruna disclosed that the suspect allegedly used a cutlass and killed his own biological son namely Ebubechukwu Alisigwe’ aged 4 years and buried the corpse in a shallow grave at his compound.

Meanwhile, police detectives on visiting the Scene, exhumed the corpse and deposited same at Abam motuary for autopsy after it was certified dead by a medical doctor.

Source further said the case has been transferred to the State CID Awka for discreet investigation.
