Anambra Information Commissioner Mefor Asks Journalists To Improve Reportage Of Soludo’s Achievements

Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor has called on Journalists to step up efforts in reporting the achievements of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Addressing members of the Anambra State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists at Godwin Ezemo International Press Center, Awka, Dr Mefo recalled that Governor Soludo has awarded over four hundred kilometers of road, completed and commissioned over two hundred and fifty kilometers, all, without borrowing.

The Commissioner said that Governor Soludo’s antecedents as an economist of repute is resonating across the globe, recalling that the then President Olusegun Obasanjo applied Governor Soludo’s blue print in economy during his regime.

On Education, Dr Mefor noted that the free education declared by the Governor has killed inter-generational poverty caused by lack of education in most families across the state.

In a good will message, the Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Mr Christian Aburime, called on Journalists in Anambra State to seek ways of reporting government activities effectively and promised a better relationship between the government and journalists across the state.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr Chris Molokwu, noted that Governor Soludo is a nationalist who engages professionals for excellence.

The State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Dr Emeka Odogwu pledged the support of journalists in the State towards publicizing the activities of the government.
