Anambra 2021: Support APGA or embark on journey to Golgotha

Ahead of November 6 Anambra State governorship election, an Educationist, Hon. Dame Chinyere Joyce Mbakwe has urged people of Anambra State to support APGA party for continuity of the Governor Obiano’s giant stride in developing the state.

Dame Mbakwe made this known while fielding questions from newsmen in Atani, Head quarters of Ogbaru LGA during the APGA party campaign rally.

She warned Anambrarians avoid making serious mistake in the forthcoming election by opting to vote for another Party instead of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), predicting that if such mistake occurs, would be another journey to Golgotha for Ndi Anambra.

Mbakwe, a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Secondary School Monitoring further expounded that APGA being the ruling party in the state has come to stay and urged Anambrarians especially civil servants to guide APGA Party tenaciously and vote for Professor Charles Soludo to continue where Governor Obiano stopped.

She recalled that in Governor Obiano’s administration, civil servants in Anambra State smiles to Bank every month and Anambrarians could be able to sleep with two eyes closed. She explained that Governor Obiano created enabling environments in the education sectors which she said propelled Anambra students to take first position in academic competition both local and International.

” There is no doubt about it, it is verifiable. Everything is moving forward in Anambra State. Recently, one of the Schools in the Anambra State won Presidential Award in Abuja during world Teachers Day event. Again, Anambra State can now boast of Passengers and International Cargo Airport, structural and human capital developments which Governor Obiano has attracted in the state. “APGA has no rivalry in this state as far as politics is concerned. It can not compete with any party to govern Anambra State. His Excellency has brought Anambrarians a tested and trusted Professor of Economics and he is the solution to Anambra State.”

The Director of Creative Model International Schools Iyiowa Odekpe revealed that those who decamped from APGA Party to other political parties are those who are not rooted in the APGA party.

“APGA party is indigenous Party that can speak for Igbo’s interest in Nigeria and no Party can swallow it in Anambra State. So, I am appealing to Anambrarians not to close eyes and loose our identity. Let us unite and support Professor Charles Soludo. Anambra cannot afford to experience another leadership crisis”

She however, pleaded with those who are threatening that there would be no election in Anambra State to rethink their resolution and understand that South East is a home for every one and should not be set ablaze.
