New Benue CP, Emenari Innocent, Assumes Duty, Pledges Stronger Security

The new Commissioner of Police in Benue State, CP Emenari Innocent, has officially assumed duty, promising to enhance security through community policing.
In a statement on Monday, police spokesperson Catherine Anene said CP Innocent, a veteran officer enlisted in 1992, brings extensive experience from previous postings across several states and international peace missions. He previously served as Force Provost Marshal before his deployment to Benue.
The CP, who holds a PhD in Literature from Obafemi Awolowo University, pledged to strengthen partnerships and deploy all resources to tackle insecurity across the state.
The Command assured residents of CP Innocent’s commitment to protecting lives and property through strategic leadership and community engagement.
