The prophetic hall of fame, prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry has frowned at the refusal of the Akwaibom state government to pay the outstanding #7,519,906,620.79 for the project Stemco Limited executed between 2012 and 2015, under the regime of the current senate president, Godswill Akpabio.

Speaking on the issue today in Lagos, he described the act of the Akwaibom state government as callous and inhumane ” I want to express my utmost dissatisfaction towards the governor of Akwa Ibom state whose administration this act was committed, Godswill Akpabio, the current senate president is responsible for this act, the commissioners for works, the commissioners for information and Accountant general of the state from 2012 till date are all guilty of this, I implore the current governor of Akwa Ibom state, Umo Eno to look into this matter urgently and pay the company “

He decried the fact that over 4000 staff of the company have lost their jobs because of the greed of Akpabio ” I regret to make it public that Stemco is languishing in penury and lack, over 4000 staff have been sacked and rendered homeless, as i speak with you now, they only have 20 staff left, out of over 4500 staff, this money is for a project that was executed, not that they didn’t do the job, why inflict them with this type of pain”.
