800 NSCDC Officers Deployed Across Gombe State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Gombe State has deployed 800 personnel statewide to ensure peace and security during Good Friday and Easter celebrations.

According to a statement by the Command’s PRO, Buhari Saad, the officers will be stationed at worship centres and celebration venues across all 11 LGAs, as part of efforts to maintain law and order.

The deployment includes operatives from the Operations, Arms Squad, Counter-Terrorist Unit (CTU), Anti-Vandal, SWAT, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI), and Intelligence units.

State Commandant, Gyama Gyawiya, assured residents of adequate security measures and urged everyone to celebrate without fear. He also encouraged the public to report any suspicious activity to the nearest NSCDC office or other security agencies.

The Command reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a safe and peaceful Easter celebration for all.
