2025: Soludo has written his name with golden pen in Okpoko -Hon. Ukwuoma

By Polycarp Ifeanyi, Onitsha
Hon. Vincent Ukwuoma, a chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has said that any political party planning campaign tour to Okpoko Community for the 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra except APGA party should shelve such idea.
In a recent interview in Onitsha, Hon. Ukwuoma emphasized that it would be a waste of energy, time and resources for any political party to think of campaigning in Okpoko.
He said what Governor Soludo has done for Okpoko Community is more than what the Political Party would bring to them.
Hon. Ukwuoma who maintained that such political party would not secure even single vote in Okpoko, made it clear that Governor Soludo has written his name with golden pen in the area in terms of transformational leadership, pointing out that only his achievements in Okpoko Community would fetch him second tenure.
He urged those eyeing Agu Awka Government house to steer clear, saying that Governor Soludo’s second tenure is sacrosanct and can not be contested with anybody.
The former Chairman of all the Chairmen of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ogbaru local government area explained that Soludo recognized that people who are living in Okpoko are human beings not animals which he said no successive Governors have ever done in the history of Anambra State.
” The transformation which Soludo brought to Okpoko Community has added new life to so many inhabitants in the area. Actually, healthy environment attracts healthy life. Imagine Okpoko as a place people used to make mockery has become a beautiful city. Soludo brought life back to so many people in Okpoko because they have lost sense of belongings to the society. God remembered Okpoko through Soludo’s administration”
He recounted access roads, street lights, water bore hole, General Hospital, modern Schools and befitting buildings amongst other as some infrastructural development which he said Soludo attracted to Okpoko Community.
He also disclosed that criminalities and petty crimes have reduced in Okpoko as development in the area induced those who had been hiding under the impression that Okpoko is a remote area to perpetrate crime have engaged themselves into a meaningful venture.
” I believe that Soludo would not beg Okpoko vote for his second tenure. You need to hear the comments of those who are living in Okpoko. Any political Party going there to campaign would waste their time, energy and resources because what the people of the area is enjoying is far better than what other political Party would bring to them. I don’t think there would be crimes in Anambra State if other successive Governors had performed like Soludo. Infact, Professor Soludo is doing well not only in Okpoko but throughout the entire Anambra communities.
