2023: PANTHERS SPORTS CLUB DRUMS SUPPORT FOR IFEANYI UBAH

One of the most influential sports clubs in Anambra state, made up of opinion moulders and society commanders, on Monday, January 23, 202,3 declared their unanimous resolve to work and win for Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah in the February 2023 general election.

Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah currently representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the red chamber is seeking re-election in the coming general election.

Speaking at well attended occasion in the residential home of the Legislator, Dr. Ubah in Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi,the president of Panthers Sports club, Chief Carlistus Osita Oraegbu declared what informed the visit

According to him, Panthers Sports club has been apolitical in the past because of high level of insincerity and lackadaisical attitude of those who found themselves as our representatives in our areas.

“Because of what we represent in our various areas of our endeavors and the quality of personalities in our membership,we distanced ourselves from active participation in politics as a club. But haven watched your performances, achievements and track records of you, Distinguish Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, our prestigious sports club took a resolution that we will swim with you, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah and ensure your victory for his second tenure come February 2023”.

“Everyone of us have resolved to work tirelessly until your victory is announced in February this year. Your membership in this club is not in doubt and we are proud of you, you have done us proud” Chief Oraegbu noted.

In his response, senator Dr. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah who was physically excited with the presence of dignified members of the club expressed happiness for the solidarity visit. He said that he have high respect for Panthers Sports club because of the calibre of her membership and what they represent in the society.

He said, ” I don’t know what I have done to deserve this honour,I know that about thirty percent of opinion moulders in Nnewi are in my house today to declare support for a son of poor teachers”.

“It’s unfortunate that some of us that venture into politics see it as a business, but I understand politics as service to my people. Am a successful businessman and God has blessed me abundantly. I know it’s Grace of God Almighty upon my life. I have chosen service to humanity and that is why am deeply concerned about the people”

“In the 90s,we met Dubai as a dessert,Pimaco is a witness but today Dubai is the capital of the world due to good government. But look at Anambra State for over 30years now, the state is getting worse than we met it. I am in the Senate to change the narrative”.

“If there’s any politician east of the Niger that spends the amount of money am spending for projects, human capacity building and concerns about the poor masses,let me be challenged. I have been using my hard earned money to support what I get from as senator for my people”.

Senator Dr Ubah unveil some of what he has done as a first time senator which none of those who have represented the district in the past could not achieve.

“I understand that politics has two faces, politics of bootlickers and politics of one with God is majority. Our people choose politics of bootlickers, where someone will call your likes in his house and direct you to go and deliver someone who hasn’t contributed anything in the society, at the end he will only come back to give you 10kg rice. This is what many liked in the past which kept us where we are today”.

” For me from on set,I chose politics of one with God which many people didn’t understand initially. Some see my position as disobedience to the local power brokers. They held us in bondage of under development and that’s why Nnewi has remain poor in infrastructural development. Thank God that I continue the fight for the libration of my people and I have broken the jinx, people can stand up for truth, equity and justice in Nnewi now”.

Speaking in the same vein, a community leader and former transition committee chairman of Ekwusigo LGA,Chief Jude Mbaegbu expressed joy that Panthers members have made a right choice in Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah for the coming election. He described Senator Ubah as God gift to humanity,very rare to be found in a century.

He said”EBUBECHUKWU UZO NNEWI is a special human being with over bearing capacity radiating in love for the masses. He has touched many people in deferent ways. He is a colossus.We must support him to ensure his victory celebration next month February. The former president of Rojenny Sports Club,Oba said ” I know Panthers Sports Club and the calibre of people in the club and your solidarity today has given me confidence that we have won the election”,he concluded.

Chief Emma Rambo Akunne and Mr Minaj Ezeugeunne lended weight for Panthers Sports club through assurance of the club resolve to partner with Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah in the February 2023 general election.

Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of a giant white ram to Senator Dr Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah by the president for distinguishing himself in the National Assembly through his _Gosim ka m fu na Anya_ projects scattered all over Anambra South Senatorial District.
