Anambra Patriots for Soludo Donate ₦30 Million to Support Governor’s Re-Election Bid

As the November 8 Anambra governorship election drags close, the Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS) have made a remarkable donation of thirty million Naira to Governor Charles Soludo for the purchase of his expression of interest and nomination forms.

The symbolic presentation of the ₦30 million check to Governor Soludo took place at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia. Notably, the group had already purchased the forms for the governor on February 28, 2025, prior to the official presentation on Sunday.

APS stands out as the first group to translate their support for the incumbent governor into financial backing.

Speaking at, the event, the Convener of APS, AbeforeEzeobi, explained that the group was motivated to contribute such a significant amount due to Governor Soludo’s exceptional achievements in office.

“There is no better way to show our appreciation to Governor Soludo for a job well done than to willingly put our money where our heart is. Governor Soludo has made us proud with his five-star performance,” Ezeobi stated.

He further emphasized the group’s commitment to ensuring the governor’s victory across all wards in the 21 local government areas of the state on November 8. “APS has set machinery in motion to ensure that the good news of Governor Soludo’s administration reaches every part of the state. He has done so well, and our support is our way of spurring him on,” he added.

In response, Governor Soludo expressed his gratitude to the officials and members of APS for their unprecedented gesture. He assured Ndi-Anambra of his continued commitment to delivering on his campaign promises of building a livable and prosperous homeland.

The Convener of APS was accompanied by the group’s Chairman, Chief Ejiamatu Damian Enekwechi, and other prominent members during the presentation.
